I think it the person in a girl talking because the text says "Im SO BEAUTIFUL everyone is too intimidated to approach me." To me that seems like something a girl would say rather than a guy.  The explicit verbal claim is that she is trying to figure out a reason why she doesn't have any friends. The implicit claim is that she is so self centered and is only thinking about herself that she doesn't even know how to make friends, so she finds reasons why instead. The visual component is the blurred background. It shows she doesn't pay attention to what is around her backing up the idea that she is too self centered.
