Perspective
I always thought abortion was not a big deal. I thought it was the women's choice and if she felt she was not ready to have a baby then that should be without a question no problem what so ever. However after reading certain topics about abortion I was able to put my self in the story as the baby that was in consideration of being aborted. I realized that if that women decided to abort me than I wouldnt be here able to type this blog; which as I'm writing it here right now doesnt seem that bad of a deal; i would still be upset knowing that I could of had a life; regardless good or bad; and I could have had the chance to make something of my life. After thinking about this situation I feel that if a women is able to have a child and at least be able to give it away to an orphange than she should. She got put in the postion of having the child the least she can do is give the baby a chance to make it in this world.

I agree with you. I have always felt the same way since it is such a burden on a women to have a baby. But you make a great point saying that its not fair for the child to have a chance at life and if its possible to have the baby and put it up for adoption, then you should have it.
ReplyDeleteI like how you show both sides of the argument and what finally persuaded you to change ur mind on the issue. It's much easier to persuade a reader when you talk about how you were persuaded yourself. Good essay!
